If you want to waste precious time, you should try explaining where to find a particular option, on a large interface. To make it more difficult, try typing these instructions. Obviously, it is much easier if you take a few screenshots and send them to your friend. With MWSnap, you may capture the whole screen or a particular area and save the images on your hard drive, in various formats. You can master its controls in less than a minute and you can find other useful tools on its compact interface.

You will not spend too much time installing MWSnap on your computer. It is compatible with any Windows platform and it is available in various languages. The setup file, as well as the installed application will take up very little disk space. Due to its modest system requirements, MWSnap can run on any computer, even with obsolete hardware.

The software's main functions include capturing the whole screen, specific regions or objects, like windows or menus. Capturing a region of the screen can be done in different ways. You can either use a rectangle of a predefined size, set up your own size or draw it on your screen. You can also find an option to repeat the last screenshot, which can be useful, especially if you don't want to make your settings again.

These options are located on the left side of the interface, but you can also find them on a toolbar, so you will not have any difficulties finding them. Screenshots are displayed in the larger area of the interface and you can save them in formats like JPEG, GIF, PNG and others. Before saving an image, you can insert arrows, beams, crosses and other icons, if you want to direct someone's attention to a specific area. It is also possible to frame your images, rotate or flip them.

MWSnap is not limited to screenshots. It provides you with a few tools, which can make your work easier, if it involves colors and designs. A color picker will help you capture any color on your screen. It includes a magnifying tool, for precise selections. You just have to place the mouse cursor over a color and click. A ruler is available as well and you can resize it and place it anywhere on the screen, in a vertical or horizontal position. Auto-saving and auto-printing features are also provided and you may configure them on the software's general settings panel.

Pros

You can take snapshots, of the entire screen or certain regions, almost instantly and save them just as fast. MWSnap provides flexible options for capturing the screen and they are very easy to understand. Its additional tools will help you measure anything on your screen or capture any color.

Cons

You can not draw with a brush tool or something similar, before saving a screenshot. MWSnap comes with everything you need to capture your screen or part of it, as fast and easy as possible.
